Today were just answering some questions concerning details on learning outcomes. Enjoy!
- What is the player/s expected to learn from playing your game?
- self-reflection, communication, collaboration, problem solving, gratitude, positive outlook
- How do you think this will be achieved?
- communication & reflection, questions being asked and wisdoms being shared in conversations with NPCs
- How will the learning be supported (facilitated)?
- through identification with the protagonist and empathy, emotional connection
- How will the learning goals and objectives be communicated?
- text on screen when having a conversation, item inventory with collected items to see what is still missing
- What is the sequencing of learning (progress from simple to complicated)?
- dynamic up’s and down’s of tension and learning, the truth and the full “moral of the story” is revealed in the very end
- What is the feedback and awarding scheme?
How is the learning adapted to the individual skills of the player, etc
- progress is visible and missing steps / items as well, progress is accelerated through collaboration and communication with NPCs

- overall it’s easy to play, in the beginning the conversations and task are less intense and get more intense over the course of the game.
